Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail

You might remember this signature cocktail from the back to school barbecue I just hosted. This pretty signature cocktail is named after the Titans, or the mascot of the law school Kevin will be attending in the fall. The drink is pink, sweet, and very light. Really, it is perfect chilled over ice and served with pretty glass. Summer is ending fast, so try it while you can.   It would be a great addition to a bridal shower, bachelorette party, or even a signature cocktail at your wedding!

1 Minute Made Lite Lemonade (59 oz bottle)
1 Simply Lemonade with Strawberry (59 oz bottle)
1 Fifth of Smirnoff Strawberry Vodka
2 lemons, sliced

Stir all the ingredients together and pour into a pretty glass dispenser
Serve with mint or basil leaves and a pretty straw

This isn't the first pink drink I have shared.  I also love Pink Champagne and Skinny Black Raspberry Cocktails.

Poppin Bottles: Pink Champage

I hope you had a lovely weekend.  It is a two cups of coffee kind of Monday.  We celebrated Kaylin's first bridal shower yesterday and I cannot wait to share the gorgeous photos.  You will be blown away at all the pretty little details.  I don't know about you, but lately, there have been so many reasons to pop bottles of champagne!  Over the past month, I have attended my share of bachelorette parties, bridal showers, brunches, and house warming parties.  For those special occasions, I select Barefoot's Pink Moscato as my drink of choice or as a thoughtful hostess gift.  This bubbly is sweet, pink, and really sets the right tone for a fun time with your girlfriends.  Try this for your next gathering...or my Skinny Blackberry Cocktails are a great choice too if you want to hit it hard.

Cheers!

Vintage Bride and Groom Custom Drink Stirrers

Having personalized drink stirrers is a great way to customize your reception.  For my wedding, I ordered vintage bride and groom drink stirrers ($22 for 50) to match my monogrammed cocktail napkins. We hired an Italian 3 piece band to play during the cocktail hour for a fun Italian touch.  The wedding party was busy taking photos, so we missed the hour, unfortunately.  I heard it was great fun though!  For the modern wedding, there are so many options to choose from if you are having drink stirrers.

Start your night off with a special message to your guests.  These drink stirrers say Live Laugh Love on a flag.  Other cute messages could be I Do, Eat Drink and Be Married, or Happily Ever After.

A drink stirrer with your new last name is a creative way to celebrate your new marriage. The script front and pearls add a touch of old Hollywood glamour.

A simple heart with your new monogram is a creative drink stirrer.  It would be an easy DIY project.

Hand crafted wooden drink stirrers are relaxed and perfect for a rustic wedding.

A pretty swirly straw would be perfect for a vintage wedding.  How cute are these Just Married paper straws?  They are super cute, but be weary of the vintage paper straw.  I used them to serve skinny cocktails, and they got very soft/soggy by the end of the drink.

So what do you think?  Would you have vintage drink stirrers at your wedding?  What about a cocktail hour?  Are you going to have one of those before the reception?
