Deke and Kristen's wedding, which we just featured in our real weddings series, is so memorable because they incorporated a lot of thoughtful DIY elements and personalized touches. Leading up to the big day, the bride's mom and sister helped finalize all these pretty details. Here are some of my favorites.
Invitations: The stationary was custom ordered from Table of Contents by Jessica Youngblood. A burlap band held the invitations, RSVP postcard, and direction page together for a rustic feel. The bride's sister made stamps out of graphics using Zazzle.com, and the bride addressed all of the envelopes by hand.
Programs: Also custom designed by Table of Contents, these are bound in burlap and monogrammed with a custom stamp in navy ink. They are sewn together across the top with 4 different navy threads.
Favors: The couple gave out CDs of their favorite songs wrapped in personalized packaging (they burned all 200 CDs themselves). The bride ordered the CD covers from Etsy and she spent hours with her mom folding all of them into CD shapes. Then they printed the playlist on cardstock with a little message on back. For the display, they found a vintage suitcase at TJ Maxx, and yes...the bride made the sign too.
Signs: The bride used circle cut outs, stamps, and twine to make vintage signs for the evening with stenciled letters on each die cut. My favorite? The adorable bird cage holder with CARDS draped in front.
Guest Book: The mother of the bride hand drew a tree for the sign in book. Guests stamped their thumb print on it for the lovebirds.
Escort cards: These are hand decorated with hearts and tied with burlap ribbon.
Table Numbers: It is no surprise here that Table of Contents also made the one of a kind table numbers. The couple submitted their favorite engagement pictures, which were printed on canvas and stretched over an embroidery hoop. Isn't that a great way to share those photos with the guests?

Kristen and Deke truly thought of everything to make their wedding one of a kind. Don't miss the photos of their wedding day here. Which was your favorite detail? Is there anything you are going to incorporate into your wedding?
